Quit (or Don’t Start )Smoking

Smoking causes many problems in your body and can raise your risk of heart attack or stroke.

Exercise

Staying active helps manage your blood glucose, blood pressure, and cholesterol and lowers your risk for pre-diabetes, diabetes, heart disease, and stroke.

Eat Healthy

Eating healthy is one of the most important things you can do to lower your risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Know Your Numbers

Regular screenings for BMI, blood pressure,  cholesterol levels, and glucose can help you   recognize changes in your body.
